Two dealerships in NC were targeted by thieves who managed to steal a total of six cars in a span of only twenty-four hours.

Over the weekend, car thieves hit two dealerships in North Carolina, stealing six vehicles, including one from Vance County. This came about a month after six different dealerships across the state were targeted by thieves, resulting in the theft of 24 cars worth over $1 million. On Sunday morning, three men broke into a Henderson car dealership and stole a new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, a 2023 Cadillac Escalade, and a 2023 Audi Q5. The Escalade was later found in Matthews, near Charlotte. The day before, three cars were stolen from a dealership in Marion in McDowell County. The thieves gained entry by breaking a glass door and used keys found inside a lock box to steal a white 2023 Chrysler 300, a gray 2020 Dodge Charger R/T, and a black 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 TRX 4WD. Police are still investigating the Marion thefts.
