During a recent test by Russia, an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched and successfully hit its target located in Kazakhstan.


A report states that a simulated target was successfully hit by the training warhead of an intercontinental ballistic missile launched from the Kapustin Yar test site in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia. The Russian Ministry of Defence declared that the objective of the launch was to evaluate sophisticated combat equipment for intercontinental ballistic missiles. According to the ministry, the launch validated the precision of the design and technical solutions employed in creating new strategic missile systems. RIA Novosti disclosed the missile’s warhead performance during the trials held at a Kazakhstan test site.
