Enjoy this recipe and have fun putting your own spin on it to make it your own!
Cut up
• 1.5 – 2 pounds venison (I used a round roast)
Into 1 inch cubes
Combine
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1/4 tsp onion powder
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp Sriracha
• ½ tsp black pepper
Stir with meat and put in the fridge to marinade for 1 hour or overnight
Drain juices and pat meat dry with a paper towel then wrap with 1/3-1/2 slice of
• 1 500g pkg bacon
And secure with a tooth pick.
Place on a wire rack on a foil coated baking sheet.
Cook in a preheated, 450° oven for 10-12 minutes.
Broil until bacon begins to get crispy, about 2 minutes.
Remove and baste with
• ¼ cup barbecue sauce (I used Guinness Bulls Eye)
Put back in for another minute or 2.
Remove and flip each piece to broil the underside. 1-2 minutes
Once beautiful and crispy, plate it and let it sit for 5 minutes then enjoy!
