Bacon Wrapped Venison Backstrap | Legendary Recipe

Cream cheese is tasty, bacon is amazing, and venison is the perfect meat… so why not put them all together? This video shows you how to make a delicious deer backstrap that will easily become a wild game favorite come hunting season.

Ingredients:

• Deer backstrap
• Bacon – thick cut
• Cream cheese
• Seasoning of choice (we used our own Classic Prime Cut Rub)

Directions:

1. Lay strips of bacon down, as many necessary to cover the length of the backstrap.
2. Lay backstrap on top of bacon, near bottom.
3. Dust with seasoning.
4. Spread cream cheese on one side of backstrap.
5. Roll backstrap, wrapping with bacon around it, secure with toothpicks.
6. Grill on Medium heat, until bacon is done.
7. Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. (If you can wait that long!)
