The Raleigh authorities have taken action in response to gunshots at the Glenwood South apartments.


Several gunshots were fired in the Glenwood South area of Raleigh, North Carolina on Sunday evening. The incident was reported at the seven-story apartment building located at 450 North St. At about 7 p.m., the police confirmed that gunshots had been fired; a witness claimed that nine shots were fired. The police were searching the apartment building for victims, as bullet holes were observed in the building. A person was spotted on a stretcher at the location. A significant number of police units were present at The Gramercy Apartments and along North Street near North Boylan Avenue. The apartment building borders Glenwood Avenue on its east side. Currently, North Street is closed at North Boylan Avenue.
