The homicide that occurred on Sunday evening is currently under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s office.


The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into a homicide that took place on Sunday evening in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Deputies responded to a shooting at 10:40 p.m. on King Charles Road and found an adult male who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center but unfortunately died and his identity is being held until his family is notified. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
