A man was stabbed by his girlfriend’s juvenile son during a domestic incident on Bonanza Drive in Fayetteville on Sunday night. The victim sustained a stab wound to his neck and was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. April Mcrae, 32, hit the victim with a glass bottle during the altercation and was subsequently charged with assault with a deadly weapon. She is currently being held without bond at Cumberland County Jail. In addition, the juvenile was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and was sent to the Juvenile Detention Center. The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating the case.
