While helping his friend move in North Carolina, Terrance Pertillar from Riverhead, New York stumbled upon a big opportunity. As he and his friend stopped for fuel at Granville Food Mart in Oxford, he noticed a scratch-off featuring Luke Combs, a popular country music artist and North Carolina native. A Combs fan himself, Pertillar decided to purchase the Living Lucky with Luke Combs ticket for $5. It turned out to be the first of five $200,000 prizes in the game. After taxes, Pertillar left the lottery headquarters with $142,501. The lottery game, Living Lucky with Luke Combs, debuted recently, and four $200,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
